SEE THE BEST OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS: A DAY TOUR WITH A DIFFERENCE - With a True Blue Mountains History and Sightseeing focus. Leave Sydney behind and start your adventure passing through farm gates area of Hawkesbury. See areas that contributed significantly to the development of colonial and pastural settlement in Australia and historic Windsor looking back over region through vantage points and onto the magnificent Rainforest drive of the Bells Line of Rd -known for it's apples and produce + magnificent flora and fauna native to the region. Stop at Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens - rare australian plants including the jurassic Wollemi Pine, indigenous bush foods and more + morning tea with incredible Blue Mountains vistas, followed by spectacular Mount York lookout. Descend into lush rainforest and onto the expansive rural area of Megalong Valley, Blue Mountains. See farmyard animals, cattle, kangaroos, optional horse riding for all levels and museum onsite. Hear about the indigenous history of the area with special guest speaker. See locally made produce and artisans' wares (the Blue Mountains are a City of the Arts and a Cittaslow /Slow Food Area ). Sample Australian produce and boutique brews and relax and unwind in a truly Australian colonial rural setting. Leading back towards the sandstone cliffs above - visit the tallest Waterfall in the Blue Mountains - Govetts Leap at Blackheath and onto the famous 3 Sisters overlooking the incredible Jamison Valley. Day 2 - Optional 2nd Day Tour : Jenolan Caves, Hartley

Day 2. Starting by meandering around Blue Mountains Drive and Cahill Lookout and Landslide Lookouts - then journey over the Mount Victoria Pass to the plains beyond. See the old courthouse at Little Hartley and historic village. Pass through rural countryside to the oldest known Caves System in the World - Jenolan Caves. Choice of showcaves and some leisure time. On the way back: sample local produce at Ambermere Rose Inn - a Cobb and Co Inn - cheeses, wines etc. Return via the backroads and past historic Comet Inn to Katoomba Station for a convenient and relaxing journey back to Sydney by train or door to door to Sydney by tour bus (add on). Also drops off at Blue Mountains accommodation. Includes: tour, 1 cave entry, lunch, local produce sampling. 9am-5pm (or 7pm if travelling back to Sydney.

Groups/Charter: Concert in the Caves - 3rd and 4th Saturday of each month

Combine seeing the oldest caves system in the world with a concert in one of the caves - probably the best accoustics in the world also. Let the vibrations and musical arrangements of classical cello music by Bach and others of his time sweep you into the acoustic brillance that awaits you in the Cathedral Chamber of Lucas Cave at Jenolan Caves - Cello Concerts with Georg Mertens - Or be inspired by the fiery spirit of Hungarian Gypsy Music with additional influences from Russia, Romania & Spain with the well- recognised Paganini Duo. Following concerts, a guided tour of Lucas Caves (one of Jenolan Cave's most beautiful caves) is included. All inclusive bookings including concert tickets. Every 3rd or 4th saturday of each month. Available from within the Blue Mountains or Sydney to Jenolan Caves for small groups. We can also arrange overnight accommodation. For larger groups, we can arrange for the same service using a coach. The caves can be booked for a concert exclusively for groups - with minimum 30 maximum 80 people at other times. Otherwise: Concert Schedule: the 3rd Saturday of each month for the Cello Concert or the 4th Saturday for the Gyspy Music Concert.
